What is IP68

IP is an acronym for Ingress Protection, and the IP protection rating system provides a way to classify products by the degree of
dust, water, and collision resistance of electrical equipment and packaging. This system was drafted by the International
Electrotechnical Association IEC (International Electro Technical Commission) and announced in IED529 (BS EN 60529:1992) Outer
Packaging Protection Class (IP code), which was also adopted as an American National Standard in 2004.

The first digit after IP is dustproof

PRODUCT STRUCTURE

The waterproof box is made of all aluminum and is mainly divided into four parts. It consists of an upper cover, a lower cover, a middle frame and a waterproof sealing strip; the middle frame (box body) is integrally formed by mold profiles. strong and sturdy. The upper cover and the lower cover are made of 6063 high-quality aluminum plate. CNC machining, dimensional accuracy can reach ±0.01mm. Die casting and extrusion difference

The extruded aluminum profile is mainly the extruded rod of the extruder, and the heated aluminum rod is extruded into a profile through a mold through physical pressure. Then through cutting and surface treatment, aluminum profiles of various shapes and uses are made.

Surface treatment process

Waterproof case produced by Kamikawa Precision. Its surface treatment is all anodized. It is different from electrophoresis and powder spraying. The surface of anodized products is more refined, and the products are more high-end.

Thick design of sealing strip

The most critical part of the waterproof box to achieve waterproof effect is the design of the sealing strip. Many customers have reported that the waterproof boxes they purchased are not well sealed, and the main reason is the problem of the sealing strip.

To make the waterproof box absolutely waterproof, we must first work hard on the design structure. If the screw holes are on the inside of the seal, it must not be waterproof.
