Step-by-Step Download Guide

Download our product specification sheet first to find the matching profile model number that fits your PCB width and height.
Access the repository and open the 3D-Models folder for 3D files or the CAD-Drawings folder for 2D engineering drawings. Hit the Ctrl+F keyboard shortcut, input your target model number (e.g. K100), and you can instantly locate the required drawing files.
The length of all standard extrusion housings supports unlimited custom lengths. The matched standard end caps are 2.0mm thick flat aluminum plates.
You can independently design customized end cap styles and connector mounting holes. Our engineering team also supplies professional drawing design assistance upon request.

What is IP68

IP is an acronym for Ingress Protection, and the IP protection rating system provides a way to classify products by the degree of
dust, water, and collision resistance of electrical equipment and packaging. This system was drafted by the International
Electrotechnical Association IEC (International Electro Technical Commission) and announced in IED529 (BS EN 60529:1992) Outer
Packaging Protection Class (IP code), which was also adopted as an American National Standard in 2004.

PRODUCT STRUCTURE

The waterproof box is made of all aluminum and is mainly divided into four parts. It consists of an upper cover, a lower cover, a middle frame and a waterproof sealing strip; the middle frame (box body) is integrally formed by mold profiles. strong and sturdy. The upper cover and the lower cover are made of 6063 high-quality aluminum plate. CNC machining, dimensional accuracy can reach ±0.01mm. The sealing strip adopts a silicone sealing strip with a diameter of 3.5mm. Never leak.

Die casting and extrusion difference

The extruded aluminum profile is mainly the extruded rod of the extruder, and the heated aluminum rod is extruded into a profile through a mold through physical pressure. Then through cutting and surface treatment, aluminum profiles of various shapes and uses are made.

The die-casting process is to heat aluminum to its melting point, cast or inject it into a mold cavity to form various products. The most important difference is the difference in extrusion ratio.

Surface treatment process

Waterproof case produced by Kamikawa Precision. Its surface treatment is all anodized. It is different from electrophoresis and powder spraying. The surface of anodized products is more refined, and the products are more high-end.

Common anodized products include computers, mobile phones and various 3C products. Its surface has a very metallic texture. Our waterproof case does the same. After anodizing, not only can the surface of the product be UV-resistant, but the surface of the product can also function as insulation.

Thick design of sealing strip

The most critical part of the waterproof box to achieve waterproof effect is the design of the sealing strip. Many customers have reported that the waterproof boxes they purchased are not well sealed, and the main reason is the problem of the sealing strip.

To make the waterproof box absolutely waterproof, we must first work hard on the design structure. If the screw holes are on the inside of the seal, it must not be waterproof.

Waterproof case designed by Kamikawa Precision, all screws are on the outside of the seal. And use thick silicone sealing strip. It can completely cover the end face of the box body, so as to achieve a real waterproof effect.
