What is a Swiss CNC Lathe
The Swiss lathe is also called the centering machine, and its processing method is very different from the traditional CNC lathe. In traditional CNC machining, the tool on the machine tool is moving. The Swiss CNC lathe is just the opposite, its tool is fixed and the part being machined moves. Because its tool is fixed with the nearest position of the spindle, the dimensional accuracy of the parts processed by the Swiss CNC lathe is higher and more stable.
Swiss lathes are also divided into 3-axis, 4-axis, 5-axis, 6-axis, 7-axis, 8-axis and 9-axis machines. Different number of axes can machine different types of parts.
Kamikawa Precision has 15 Japanese Tsugami 3-axis Swiss lathes, 12 Japanese 4-axis 4-axis, 6 5-axis and 8 6-axis Swiss CNC lathes. Can provide different customized services for different customers.
